“I’ve no doubt Edo people will invest confidence in Asue/Ogie ticket during the election,” says Mayaki A former Chief Press

Secretary to Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo state, Mr. John Mayaki has expressed confidence that the Asue Ighodalo and Osarodion Ogie ticket will win the governorship elections on the 21st of this month.

Mayaki said, “I have no doubt whatsoever, in my heart of hearts that the people will invest confidence in the Asue/Ogie ticket to continue to lead Edo state.

The great day for the people of Edo state is coming – it’s a day when our people will decide on their own future and that of Edo state on who should lead them as their governor,” he said.

Mayaki stated that Asue and Ogie have been conducting successful, issue-based campaigns across Edo State. He believes that the people know what is best for themselves and will grant Asue and Ogie a decisive majority.

In a statement, he said: “We all want to see change in our state. Let us come out and vote for the man who truly understands our pains and can bring us economic prosperity and security. It is our democratic right to choose our candidate. Let us be motivated to vote and ensure our votes count.

“For instance, an average Esan man is concerned about the APC’s candidate, who is seen as a puppet controlled by outsiders. The University teacher at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, wants a competent, intelligent governor, not someone who is barely educated and incompetent.

“The people of Edo South are enlightened and cannot be easily deceived, except for a few pursuing their selfish agendas. They all agree that Asue Ighodalo is not someone who can be easily manipulated. His educational background, work experience, and boardroom expertise all attest to his character.”
