Chief Bishop Omogiade Enoyiogiere Edokpolo- BHSF Chairman

The Business and Hoteliers Stakeholders Forum (BHSF) has applauded the EFCC Chairman- Ola Olukoyede for redeploying the Acting Zonal Director- Effa Imoh Okim from Edo State, saying  it has long be the prayer of business owners and hoteliers in the State. The group also thank the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) for throwing its weight behind them.

This was made known in a press statement signed by the Secretary of the group- Osarobo Onaghise, Esq, and made available to newsmen in Benin City.

This press statement is sequel to  the press conference conveyed by BHSF on October 1st, 2025, where the chairman of BHSF- Chief Bishop Omogiade Enoyiogiere Edokpolo called for the removal of the Acting Director from office

According to the statement, the call for the removal is not unconnected to the incessant attack on business premises by the  anti-graft agency which had earlier informed a petition written  against the illegal activities of the redeployed Acting Zonal Director.

"We wish him well in his future endeavours, but let it be known that we will not tolerate attacks on our livelihoods. We will not relent in  protecting the welfare of our  members.

"This victory was made possible by our unwavering resilient members. Your unwavering support is unquantifiable. We Thank everyone of you for your uncompromising stand.

"These raids brought fear, vandalism, and losses in billions of naira. But we stood united, and in this unity, we prevailed.

"This is just the start. The BHSF will fight relentlessly to end unlawful raids. Together, we are unstoppable. To our shared strength and our unstoppable spirit, let’s keep pushing for a thriving Edo State. BHSF will fight to end unlawful raiding and extortion of its members and Edo people in general", the statement posited.
