Edo Referees felicitate with NFF Referees Appointment and Development Committee boss on her birthday

FIFA Faith Irabor answering questions from news menMembers of Edo State Football Referees Council have sang a song of gratitude to God for adding another year to the age of the former Vice President 1 of the Nigeria Football Referees Association (NRA)- Faith Irabor, FIFA (rtd.). The members who were full of joy recounted the landmark achievements made by Rtn Faith Irabor and pray God to grant her many more productive years. This was revealed in an official platform of Edo Football Referees Council.
Rtn Faith Irabor who is presently the Chairperson of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Referees Appointment and Development Committee (being the first woman to have occupied that position), was a former Director of Sports with the Edo State Sports Commission.
Faith Irabor who started her referee career in Ilorin Kwara State saw a former Army pay master and a university Professor stepping down for her to be elected as the first female Vice President 1 of NRA. A position she held before being appointed Chairperson of NFF Referees Appointment and Development Committee.
Awarded FIFA badge in 1995, Faith Irabor won many laurels to Nigeria in general and Edo State in particular, having officiated in many FIFA and CAF organised matches. Due to her firmness during her active days as FIFA badged referee, the erstwhile Chairperson of Edo State Football Referees Council was appointed a CAF/FIFA Referees Instructor.
