According to the MWI, Journalists were randomly selected and interviewed and their responses were statistically recorded.  "Most of the respondents said they decided to vote for Nekpen Maureen Nwine because she posses the needed capacity to move the Edo NUJ forward. By Isaac Eranga  Sights from the eye screening exercise Lagos: Lagos Achievers Lions Club joined the global community to enhance people's vision by organizing an eye screening exercise for Obalende and Ijeh-Dolphin residents on Saturday 19th October 2024.  The event which is the first part of the club's vision project for 2024/2025 Lions year, was done to commemorate  the 2024 World Sight Day, an annual event to raise awareness of blindness and the importance of eye care. A beneficiary expressing joy about the eye screening exercise  Over 100 persons benefited from the exercise. Reading glasses, special prescription lens, eye drops, multivitamins and health tips were given to beneficiaries based on the doctors' observations and recommendations..
