Canada World set a new template for entertainment industry in Benin City

Benin City: As part of measures in promoting the entertainment industry in Benin City, the management of Canada World recently rolled out a weekly program activities sprawling from Monday to Sunday.

This was disclosed by the CEO of the Hotel and Suites - Chief Dr. Omogiade Enoyiogiere Edokpolo. He said the vision behind the weekly activities was to reduce the level of depression and high blood pressure among the people of Edo State. 

"Entertainment is one way of injecting joy, peace and calmness in mind on the people. 

"When you think the Country is bad, there is a Place where you can see a reason of living there; that Place is called Canada World", Dr Edokpolo said.

The weekly activities are as follows:

Mondays: Flashback Old School and Blues.

Tuesdays: All Round Jamz with DJ EAL.

Wednesdays: Indigenous Live Bands.

Thursdays: Raggae and Fela Night, Root Rock, Culture, Lovers Rock and Conscious Raggae featuring DJ EAL.

Fridays: Thank God is Friday Night with allround Ninja Jams.

Saturdays: After Party Lovers Night with DJ EAL.

Sundays::Music and Comedy

The redeployed Acting Zonal Director of EFCC- Effa Imoh Okim Chief Bishop Omogiade Enoyiogiere Edokpolo- BHSF Chairman The Business and Hoteliers Stakeholders Forum (BHSF) has applauded the EFCC Chairman- Ola Olukoyede for redeploying the Acting Zonal Director- Effa Imoh Okim from Edo State , saying  it has long be the prayer of business owners and hoteliers in the State.
