The leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Edo State Council has lauded the Edo State Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki for initiating the Anti-Open Grazing Bill which is presently before the state House of Assembly.

In a statement signed by Comrade Festus Alenkhe and Andy Egbon, the Chairman and Secretary of the council respectively, the council said that the bill is a positive development which, when passed into law, would regulate activities of herdsmen across the state.

The council therefore prayed the state House of Assembly to speed up the process of the passage of the bill in the overall interest of the people of the state.
