Youths laud Obaseki’s industrialization policy

BENIN CITY - A Coalition of Orhionmwon Youth Elite Groups (COYEG) has lauded the
industrialization policy of Edo State Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki.

In a joint statement by its President, Comrade Jonathan Okunbor and
Secretary, Comrade Goodluck Osama Ogbeide, the group, said
the governor has demonstrated sufficient courage in building the
capacity of Edo youths towards addressing the daunting economic challenges in the Country.

The statement, appreciated Governor Obaseki “for the inclusion of youths in governance," following the appointment of Mr. Osamwonyi Atu, a kinsman into the Board of Edo State Oil and Gas Producing Areas Development Commission (EDSOGPADEC).

The group charged Atu who hails from Evbuobanosa
village in Orhionmwon Local Government Area of the State, to justify the confidence reposed in him.

It also urged the state government to accord the ocal government area endowed with 85 percent of Oil and Gas deposit in the state, its pride of place in the allocation of resources.
