Pregnant Woman Suffers Severe Burns After Falling Asleep On Her Iphone 7

News.com.au reports that a Lady,Melanie Tan Pelaez while she was watching movies and latter dozing after plugged in her iPhone 7 to a nearby socket.The next morning she woke up feeling pins and needles up and down her arm, which had turned red.she was later reported to have contacted a Doctor who told her that she suffered a second-degree burn from a foreign object, and instructed her to find the "object" at home.

Tan Pelaez on reaching Home realized that her iPhone 7 had been the cause of the injury suspecting the markings on her hand closely matched to the phone and the charger with the phone itself not exploding.
The million naira device might have been overheated while charging as a result of it being covered by a body.

Tan Pelaez is said to have took the supposedly faulty phone in for a check up at a nearby Apple Store and She was told that the iPhone lacked a certain distinctive smell that would have proved the phone was the fault.

It was also reported that Apple staff packed up the device and sent it to Cupertino for testing. They offered her a replacement iPhone 7 unit, but she refused to take it. It was later confirmed that her pregnancy is fine but also confirmed was that She's going to need plastic surgery to fix her arm.
