Bishop Gordon Osagiede Jr. commends Journalists over selfless service

News Blogger - Isaac Eranga The General Overseer of Spirit and Life Family Bible Church - Bishop Gordon Osagiede Jr., has lauded Edo Journalists over their selfless service to the people of Edo State. He said the journalism profession is an altruistic selfless service to humanity.  Bishop Osagiede who was represented by the Ministry's Director General - Pastor Joseph Blessed Martins Odidi, gave this commendation when members of the  Federated Chapel, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Edo State Council, paid him a courtesy visit at the Church headquarters in Benin City. "We know all the risks and the dangers journalists are exposed to on a daily basis. It's your selflessness that has kept you in the profession. He said the candidacy of Mr. Peter Obi is a proof that the LP is 100 percent ready to change the country's present status quo. No plans to demolish the Edo NUJ building, says Edo State government

------ We have not issued any press statement to that effect, says Edo NUJ By Isaac Eranga The Edo State Government has debunked the rumour that the state government is making arrangement to occupy part of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) secretariat for the purpose of building a museum. This was contained in a press release signed by Edo State Commissioner for Communication and Orientation- Chris LSA Nehikhare. According to the release, "Edo State Government is aware of an unfortunate and highly misinforming report issued by the Edo State Council of the Nigerian Union of Journalists titled: Obaseki plan to make Edo Journalists Homeless.
