  Newly elected Chairman of Federated Chapel- Mercy Onyenwenli receiving handshake from Festus Alenkhe, Edo NUJ Chairman Elections of candidate into various positions in Federated chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Edo State Council, have been conducted in Benin.  The election which was conducted by the Treasurer of the Council - Comrade Solomon Obusoyan, was witnessed by the Secretary of the Council- Comrade Andy Egbon and journalists from other chapels was adjudged free, fair, and credible. 18 members were accredited to vote.  At the end of the election, Comrade Mercy Onyenwenli emerged the Chairman.   The Federated chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalist (NuJ), Edo State Council has revealed the date of elections into various positions in the chapel.  This revelation was made by the Chairman of the caretaker committee, Dr Isaac Eranga in Benin City. He said all was set for a credible election that will usher in new leadership that will pilot the affairs of the chapel for the next three years. The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, meet with the Governor of Rivers, Nyesom Wike and other governors of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Rivers State. The meeting is the second time Obi would meet with Wike after dumping the PDP and declaring his presidential ambition.
