Edo state Gymnastics Chief Coach Appointed Technical Director, GFN.

Edo state Gymnastics Chief coach, Chief Isaiah Obanor had been appointed as the technical director of the Gymnastics Federation of Nigeria. In a letter to Chief Obanor, dated 4th of August, 2017 and signed by the President of GFN, Prince Kelvin Erhunmunse stated that his appointment as technical director is in recognition of Chief Obanor competence and experience acquired over the years. "In a deliberate effort to strengthen the Federation in the area of capacity building, the board has set committees to be managed by competent personnel like you." Chief Obanor hard earlier on the same date been admitted into the board of the Federation. With his appointment, Edo state now produced the President of the GFN, and the technical director.

Osinbajo hosts Nigerian ‘miracle’ surgeon

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has met the Nigerian medical doctor, Oluyinka Olutoye, who performed a surgery on an unborn baby and then placed the baby back in the mother’s womb. Olutoye was the Acting President’s guest at the Villa yesterday, moving the Acting President to extol Nigerians who excel in their fields globally. Apparently disturbed by reports of professional misconduct reaching his table, even from among Command Police Commissioners, Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris has read the riot act, warning that he would not hesitate to flush out any CP involved in acts of misconduct. While urging the Commissioners of Police to conduct themselves professionally and handle criminal cases diligently, IGP Idris said, “I expect the highest standard from you. Don’t let anybody buy your conscience. Hold your own; I want you to be very professional,” Confirming the warning in a statement, Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Jimoh Moshood said the IGP made the statement at a meeting with DIG’s, AIG’s and CPs.
